I played the very first one on Gameboy Advance years ago, what a game! I actually didnt get Chijin from Dijin, I looked up "friend" in a japanese translator and it gave me "chijin", but yeah I chose that word because it worked well and was a neat throwback to GS:)

The Golden Sun games used Djinn, which reminded me of these guys. They had more of a function of casting spells though.

Yeah I agree, and the NG medals system is the best! My friend Craig is programming the game, he doesnt really have much on Newgrounds but he is a great programmer and I dont doubt that he'll do it justice!
